Shipyard Early Bird
Description
Shipyard Early Bird is a six-hour AI builders’ coworking meetup in London on Tuesday 1 September, combining coffee, breakfast and open-laptop building. Held from 10:00am to 4:00pm (GMT+1), this informal session offers a place to meet other people working in AI, explain what you are building and spend the day making progress alongside peers. The format is deliberately simple: get your first coffee, talk with fellow builders, open your laptop and stay for as much of the session as you find useful. ## Coffee, conversation and focused building There are no scheduled talks, formal presentations or fixed agenda. Instead, Shipyard Early Bird combines the social energy of a founder meetup with the practical value of a coworking day. Breakfast and an initial coffee create space for introductions and conversations before attendees settle into their own projects. Expect the room to include people exploring and building: - Autonomous AI agents - AI commerce products and infrastructure - Payments, marketplaces and agent-to-agent money - Experimental AI projects and prototypes - Sales and marketing initiatives connected to AI The open format should suit attendees who want honest conversations about work in progress rather than a polished conference programme. Bring your laptop, a clear explanation of what you are making and any challenges or ideas you would value discussing with other practitioners. ## Who is it for? Shipyard describes the meetup as exclusively for people building in AI. Its intended audience includes autonomous agent builders, AI hackers, people working at the intersection of AI and commerce, and sales and marketing professionals operating in the field. No specific experience level is listed, but the builder-led focus makes it most relevant to people actively developing, testing, selling or supporting an AI product or project. ## A limited Tuesday series Presented by Shipyard, whose motto is “Where London ships,” Early Bird runs as a limited Tuesday meetup through September and October, before turning into “something bigger” in November. This 1 September edition takes place in London, with Sofia Senatorova hosting. The exact address is shared after registration. Approval is required, so submitting a request does not automatically confirm a place. Request to join Shipyard Early Bird
