Secure by Design & An AI Harness for Architecture

The session covers 12 essential security controls, mapped to the OWASP Top 10, including: - JWT authentication and role-based access control - Input validation and secrets management - CI/CD security scanning - A structured, repeatable defence-in-depth approach Each control is supported by live C# code that attendees can adapt for their own projects. You will leave with a ready-to-use security checklist for assessing and strengthening ASP.NET Core APIs. ## The Architectural Harness The second talk tackles a familiar architecture challenge: teams often know that weaknesses exist, but struggle to identify which ones should be fixed first. Chris will present a practical approach to using token-efficient LLM techniques to continuously profile architectural estates, surface significant risks and prioritise the work that matters most,without incurring excessive token costs. This session is particularly relevant to architects and engineering leaders exploring how AI can support ongoing technical governance, risk analysis and better-informed modernisation decisions. ## Format and schedule Doors open at 18:00 BST, followed by the welcome at 18:40.
