About the Hackathon Ideas are easy. Building is hard. Foundry & Loop brings together developers, AI/ML engineers, designers, founders, students, researchers, and creatives for an intense 29-hour overnight hackathon in Mulki, Udupi. For almost 30 hours, you have the opportunity to form a team, identify a problem, experiment with technology, build a working prototype, and present it to a jury. You do not need a mature startup. You don’t need to have an existing product. You don’t even need a fully formed idea. Come with your skills, curiosity, and willingness to build. Find a team. Choose a problem. Build something. Submit it. Demo it. ⚡ What happens? 💡 IDEATE Start with a problem worth solving. Discover ideas, present concepts, find teammates, and decide what you want to build. 🤝 BUILD YOUR TEAM Team up with people from various fields: Engineering × AI/ML × Design × Product × Business Come with your friends or meet your teammates at the event. 🛠️ BUILD Once the hackathon starts, the clock is your friend. Use the technologies, APIs, frameworks, models, and tools you need for the best solution. 🚀 SUBMIT Don't just stick to one idea. Build something that people can actually interact with. 🎤 DEMO At the end of the hackathon, each participating team will have the opportunity to present what they built. Show us the problem. And show us what's next. 🗓️ EVENT SCHEDULE 22 SEPTEMBER 2026 11:00 AM — Check-in & Registration Arrive at the venue, pick up your event kit, meet other participants, and get comfortable. 12:00 PM — Opening Ceremony Welcome from Foundry & Loop. We will introduce the hackathon, explain the rules, evaluation criteria, challenges, and prizes. 12:30 PM — Idea Pitch & Team Formation Do you have an idea? Pitch it. Looking for a team? Find one. Don’t know what to build? Meet people and brainstorm together. 1:30 PM — HACKING BEGINS ⚡ The clock starts ticking. Time to build. 2:00 PM — Lunch Fuel up before the long build session begins. 4:00 PM — Mentor & Builder Sessions Get feedback, discuss your architecture, validate your idea, and keep building. 8:00 PM — Dinner Take a break, recharge, and keep going. 10:00 PM — Nighttime Build Session 🌙 The venue remains active while teams continue to build all night. 23 SEPTEMBER 2026 1:00 AM — Midnight Snacks & Coffee ☕ Keep the ideas flowing. 6:00 AM — Breakfast A new day.
