AI Training Workshop (Beginner Friendly)

Have you heard everyone talking about AI and wondered what all the fuss is about? Maybe you've seen the word "ChatGPT" a hundred times and still aren't quite sure what it actually does. You're not alone and this workshop is for you. Whether you're an older adult curious about new technology, someone working in the community sector wanting to save time on everyday tasks, or you're simply AI-curious with no experience at all, this session is designed to welcome everyone - no jargon, no assumptions, and no silly questions. We'll take things at a gentle pace, exploring what AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude actually are, how people are using them in daily life, and how you can start experimenting for yourself, safely and confidently. You'll leave with practical tips, a bit more confidence, and hopefully a lot less mystery around what "AI" really means. Who it's for: Community organisations working with Younger Adults, volunteers, and anyone living in the Edgbaston constituency. This is a judgment-free space to ask questions and have a go.
