Crash Course: AI-Native Observability
Description
Learn to diagnose production incidents faster in this three-session online crash course on AI-native observability, starting 31 August 2026 at 18:30 EEST.When a production system fails, disconnected monitoring and logging tools can turn root-cause analysis into hours of guesswork. Crash Course: AI-Native Observability from Fwdays Academy presents Logs, Metrics, Distributed Tracing and Error Tracking as one coherent system, then explores how AI can help teams analyse incidents, identify anomalies and reach the root cause more quickly.## What the course coversAcross three online sessions of approximately two hours each, participants will work towards a practical, joined-up understanding of modern observability. The course focuses on:- Connecting Logs, Metrics, Tracing and Error Tracking rather than treating them as isolated disciplines- Finding root causes in complex distributed systems- Applying AI to incident analysis and anomaly detection- Designing an observability strategy for a team- Reducing mean time to resolution (MTTR) with a repeatable incident-response checklistThe intended outcome is not simply familiarity with individual monitoring signals. Participants should leave with a clearer model for how those signals work together, plus a strategy grounded in real experience from MacPaw and a checklist they can use when production incidents occur.## Mentor and formatThe course is led by Yozhef Hisem, a Solution Architect at MacPaw with more than 10 years of experience. He has spoken at Fwdays, DOU and on YouTube, and teaches on the MacPaw Internship educational programme. His perspective gives the course a practical emphasis on the realities of operating and debugging distributed software. This online format is suited to software engineers, solution architects, DevOps and platform practitioners, SREs, technical leads, and teams responsible for production reliability. It will be especially relevant to people who already encounter logs and monitoring in their work but want a more systematic approach to incident investigation. The event is associated with the Fwdays community in Kyiv, while all three sessions take place online.…Register for this event
