AI Challenge Days 2027

From February 12 to 14, 2027, the Innovation Campus Lemgo will be the meeting point for everyone interested in AI, coding, and real challenges from the industry. During the AI Challenge Days, you will work for three days on two challenges using real industrial data. Develop your own ideas, test different approaches, and turn data into a functioning solution. The AI Challenge Days are jointly organized by inIT – Institute for Industrial Information Technology of TH OWL, Fraunhofer IOSB-INA, and the CENTRUM INDUSTRIAL IT (CIIT). Already have a team? Perfect. Not yet? That's fine too! You can register as a team directly or participate alone. Don’t have a team yet? No problem: On-site, you can meet other participants and form a team. Not much experience with coding or AI? Also not a problem. The AI Challenge Days are explicitly suitable for beginners as well. What counts is curiosity, enthusiasm for trying things out, and the desire to develop something together. Python skills are helpful but not a requirement. What you need Bring your own laptop or computer and everything you need for coding. Accommodation options are also provided on-site. You will receive all further information about the challenges, recommended tools, the course of events, and accommodation in a timely manner by email after registration. Food during the event will be provided. Participation from the age of 14 Everyone aged 14 and older can participate. Minors can only participate with written consent from their legal guardians. The required documents and further information about the terms of participation will be provided during registration. TH OWL assumes responsibility and insurance coverage for the participants. This also applies to our participants aged 14 and older. Participate for free & win Participation in the AI Challenge Days is free of charge. The three best teams will compete for prize money. The amount of the prize money will be announced later.
