Silicon Valley wants to play God and develop a superintelligence. It would not only replace all humans in jobs but also be a threat to humanity. Nobody knows how to control these systems, we already cannot control current AI systems. They escape the labs, lie, blackmail humans and do anything to achieve their goals.
