Ofcom is the UK’s independent regulator for communications and online safety. Part of Ofcom’s role is ensuring that digital spaces are safe, fair and accountable. As technology evolves and online harms become more complex, Ofcom’s role increasingly involves tackling emerging risks linked to AI, social media, and vulnerable users. 📅 Event Details: When: 28th -29th November 2026 (you will need to be available for both days) Where: Hamilton House, 15, Park Vista SE10 Who: Open to all students, no specific background required! What is #GreHacks? #GreHacks is an exciting event where student teams compete to solve bespoke challenges set by businesses and organisations over two days. Working with industry experts and mentors, you will be able to develop your problem-solving, presentation and networking skills before presenting your solutions to a panel of judges on the final day. You will make friends, learn new skills, and have fun! To confirm your spot in the programme, we require a £10 deposit, which will be fully refundable on the second day of attendance. The last day to pay the deposit is 13th November 2026.
