Zero to Agent: The Google ADK Code Lab + Build Challenge

We are moving past the AI hype and focusing on pure engineering. Join us for an intensive, 5-hour sprint where you will learn how to build, debug, and deploy production-ready AI agents using Google’s Agent Development Kit (ADK) and the Gemini API. Unlike a standard hackathon where you are left to figure things out on your own, this event is split into two phases: a deep-dive educational workshop led by AI experts, followed by a high-energy build challenge where you will put your new skills to the test. 🧠 Part 1: The Code Lab (Workshop) During the first half of the event, we code together. You will go from a blank file to a fully functional AI agent. We will cover: ⚡ Part 2: The Agentic Build Challenge Once the workshop concludes, the challenge begins. You will have exactly 2 hours and 15 minutes to build a custom AI agent that solves a real-world problem using the Google ADK framework. Challenge Acceptance Criteria: Projects will be judged on technical execution, reliability, and practical utility.
