Your Hand Is the Prompt — A 2h Embodied AI Prototyping Workshop Most AI interfaces still ask us to sit still, type, and wait. But what happens when the body becomes part of the prompt? In this 2-hour online workshop, we will explore how gestures, webcam-based hand tracking, face tracking, and simple browser prototypes can help designers imagine AI interfaces beyond the chatbox. This is a hands-on introduction to Embodied AI Interfaces for designers, creative technologists, artists, educators, and curious people who want to prototype more physical, spatial, and expressive ways of interacting with machines. We will look at how the body can become: You do not need to be an expert coder. The goal is not to build a polished product, but to understand the interaction grammar behind embodied interfaces: input, processing, output, feedback, gesture, ambiguity, and design decisions. By the end of the workshop, you will have a clearer framework for designing body-based AI interactions and a set of small browser-based experiments to continue exploring.
