Virtual | AI + Design: Hands-On with FigmaMake | Build & Brew

Last week's Build & Brew session was all about getting hands-on with AI-powered design prompting in Figma Make. Turnout was great and the energy was even better, so this week we're building on that momentum with two features that take you well beyond basic prompting. We'll be covering: Plan Mode — Before Figma Make writes a single line of code, Plan Mode lets you see and review its structured approach first. Instead of just reacting to whatever the AI generates, you get to steer the process from the start, aligning on direction before anything gets built. This is a great way to practice thinking like a strategist rather than just a prompt-writer, which ties directly into the bigger shift happening in design right now. Point and Edit — Rather than describing every change in a wall of text, Point and Edit lets you click directly on the exact element you want to change and make targeted edits from there. It's a faster, more precise way to iterate, and it keeps the AI focused instead of regenerating things you didn't ask it to touch.
