Vibe Coding Starter Workshop
Description
--English below— No coding experience required! This is an introductory workshop on "Vibe Coding" where you can develop apps and websites just by conveying your ideas to AI. Have you ever thought, "I want to create my own app or service, but programming seems difficult...?" With Vibe Coding, you can turn your ideas into reality while interacting with AI without writing any code. This event is a student workshop hosted by ChatGPT Lab @ Waseda, sponsored by OpenAI. You will get to experience how to develop software simply by explaining what you want to build using OpenAI's coding AI agent, "Codex." On the day, we will provide a detailed explanation starting from how to set up Codex to its basic usage, followed by a time for participants to freely develop their projects. At the end, there will be a presentation time for those who wish to share their work. Everyone from complete programming beginners to those interested in using AI is more than welcome! *Participation is prioritized for Waseda University students; however, if there are openings, students from other universities are also welcome to join. Have you ever dreamed of creating your own app or website but gave up on the idea because it was too difficult? With Vibe Coding, now you can build anything you want - even with no coding experience! This is an introductory Vibe Coding workshop hosted as part of ChatGPT Labs @ Waseda, where you will use Codex (OpenAI's AI agent for coding tasks) to build your own software by simply describing what you want to create. During the session, we will walk you through the setup of Codex and everything else you need, followed by free time for you to bring your vision to life. We will round off the session with demos from participants who would like to share their creations with the rest. Whether you're completely new to programming or already curious about AI, beginners are more than welcome! (Participation is prioritized for Waseda University students; however, if spots remain, students from other universities are welcome to attend as well.)
