A container sandbox keeps your agent from trashing your laptop. A whole disposable VM goes a level further: full-OS isolation, its own kernel, its own everything. Spin it fresh, hand it to the agent, let it run wild, then destroy the box. Nothing leaks back. Nothing accumulates. The VM is cattle, not a pet.
