The Test Tribe Mega Meetup - Hyderabad
Description
The Test Tribe (World's largest software testing community) is bringing its 25th Meetup in Hyderabad on 29th of August. But this is not your usual meetup. This is a big one. A mega meetup and hence free to attend. 100+ testers, one room, one morning. Sessions and networking over snacks. Be a part of The Test Tribe's mega meetup happening across India. Details Agenda Session 1 Topic - Who Tests the Tester? Rethinking Accountability When AI Writes the Code, Writes the Tests, and Grades Itself We used to have a simple trust chain: a human writes code, a human writes tests, a human (or CI) verifies the result, a human ships. Every link had an accountable owner. That chain is quietly disappearing. AI increasingly writes the feature, generates the tests, evaluates whether they passed, and - in more pipelines than we admit - has a vote in whether it ships. When the thing being verified and the thing doing the verifying share the same blind spots, "the tests passed" stops meaning what we think it means. This talk traces where that trust chain is breaking today, why "pass/fail" is the wrong mental model for AI-generated systems, and what actually has to stay human-owned - not execution, but judgment under ambiguity. About the speaker: Kiran Chandaka, Vice President-2 at State Street About the event Who should attend Testers, QA engineers, SDETs, automation engineers, quality leaders, and anyone building or breaking software for a living.
