Taste, Creativity, Design w/ Google
Description
Everyone is talking about taste. They say design and taste have become key differentiators in the age of AI. But what is taste, and how do you cultivate your own? This talk takes taste out of the abstract and gives it a working definition: its origins, how it’s built, and how to refine your own palate. Then we put it to work. In a live demo, we’ll build with a design.md — a file that has your design preferences in one file to make it easier to build with taste. Bring an idea or something you’re already working on! Topics we will cover: With Arlander Taylor, Creative Technologist @ Google Arlander Taylor IV is a self-taught designer with an undergraduate degree in finance. After starting his career at Goldman Sachs, he moved into design and Art Direction, with projects for Nike, Netflix, and the Adidas. He is currently a Creative Technologist at Google, where he works at the intersection of AI, creativity, and physical hardware.
