Summer 2026 Demo Day

The Better Futures Scholars Summer 2026 Cohort will demo their products and present on their experience in the program. Join us for the occasion at the Weston Conference Center at the UTSA College of AI, Cyber and Computing. This summer, the scholars built digital tools and a ridership forecasting model for VIA Metropolitan Transit to help the agency better serve the people who ride it. They also researched the state of AI in Texas and, in partnership with SA Digital Connects, dug into the digital divide. Demo Day is where they show you what came out of that work, and what they learned along the way. Expect live demos, short presentations from each team, and time to talk with the scholars about what they built and found. Whether you are a family member, mentor, partner, or simply curious about what BFI is building, you belong in the room. Come see what this summer's cohort accomplished.
