Singapore–India Hackathon 2026

Singapore–India Hackathon 2026 brings young builders together at SMU in Singapore to create AI-powered solutions with real-world impact. Running 15–17 November 2026 at Singapore Management University (SMU), this three-day cross-border hackathon challenges participants from Singapore and India to combine their perspectives, skills and ideas around a shared ambition: build a better future. Hosted by the SMU Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, the event centres on collaborative problem-solving rather than purely theoretical discussion. Participants will work in cross-border teams and receive access to a suite of AI tools with which to develop their solutions. The individual tools are not specified, so attendees should arrive ready to experiment, learn and turn an idea into something tangible within the hackathon timeframe. ## Four industry tracks Teams will tackle real problems across four areas where technology and entrepreneurship can generate meaningful change: - Fintech , exploring technology-led responses to challenges in financial services - Sustainability , building ideas that contribute to a more sustainable future - Emerging technology , applying new technological capabilities to practical problems - Social innovation , creating solutions designed to deliver positive outcomes for society ## Who should take part? The hackathon is aimed at young minds who want to build, collaborate across borders and make a difference. It is particularly relevant to aspiring founders, innovators, technologists and problem-solvers interested in AI, entrepreneurship and impact-led product development.
