A free 12-hour San Francisco hackathon on Sept 26, 2026, where building wild ideas can win you prizes and yes—a shower for the champion.

12-hour hackathon where the winner gets to take a shower. First place: $1000 cash + shower; 2nd: $500; 3rd: $250 cash. Event open to anyone over 18; applications accepted via website and Discord. 400 participants expected. Schedule: check-in, team formation, hacking, judging, presentations, voting, shower, afterparty. Top 30% of teams invited to afterparty. Promoted by Entrepreneurs First, with multiple sponsors including Zo, Moss, etc. Venue: physical event in San Francisco (501 Folsom St). Encourages absurd, creative ideas—no need for economic viability. Full prize pool over $9,700 including sponsor-specific awards.
