SBC DAO Workshop 2026

This year's SBC DAO Workshop theme is "Farewell, but not goodbye". DAOs are going through a winter: declining interest and enthusiasm as crypto prices waver and the frictions of existing DAO governance. Large DAO tooling companies like Tally folding; promising new experiments like Hats not finding traction.On the other hand, many of the flagship DAOs are doing just fine. By certain counts, more companies are organizing assets on-chain than ever. Governance is changing; the era of the anything-goes forum is waning. And as with every other industry, the specter and opportunity of AI looms over it all.Let's figure out where the DAO ecosystem will go from here. The agenda for the event:
