The Provost's DELTA Teaching Forum, hosted at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, serves as a dynamic gathering for educators and academic leaders to explore innovative teaching practices and the integration of technology in the classroom. Scheduled for May 1, 2026, this one-day forum will feature a series of engaging workshops, keynote speeches from esteemed thought leaders in education, and collaborative discussions aimed at enhancing teaching effectiveness. Participants will have the opportunity to network with peers, share experiences, and gain insights into the latest trends and research in pedagogy.
Highlights
Keynote address by Joseph Aoun, president of Northeastern University. Interactive performance-workshop by Sean Jones and Richard Johnson exploring jazz improvisation as a model for learning. Dean's panel discussion on the future of teaching and learning in higher education. Concurrent sessions covering various teaching innovations and best practices. Opportunities for faculty, staff, and students to network and share teaching strategies. Sessions streamed online via Zoom for remote participants.
