PontIA Connect brings AI talks, a live generative AI demonstration and industry networking to Talent Garden Madrid on 23 October 2026, from 4pm to 9pm. At 4pm, PontIA CEO Jesús Garrido will open the event with an introduction to the day and a roadmap for the real-world application of AI across today’s business landscape. A featured session follows at 4:15pm: “Does artificial intelligence think? Live Tokenizer demonstration”, led by Carlos Moreno, Head of AI at BBVA. This practical talk will demystify generative AI and examine why language models operate through statistics and probability rather than human-style reasoning. Attendees will see how these systems: - Divide written language into tokens - Transform text into numerical representations - Predict the next word from its surrounding context - Change their responses when model settings are adjusted Using OpenAI’s Tokenizer in a live, on-screen demonstration, Moreno will show how a machine processes language.
