DescriptionMost of the AI we use today was born in academic papers that almost nobody outside research ever reads. The Pie & AI Papers Club exists to close that gap in Goiânia.In this first edition, a presenter walks the group through a foundational AI paper, translating notation and jargon into an explanation anyone with an interest in technology can follow. We then open the floor for a moderated discussion: what the paper proposes, why it mattered, and what it means for the work we do today.The format is designed for a mixed audience. Newcomers leave understanding how the field actually evolves; practitioners and researchers get something rare in our city — a space to discuss research with peers. The reading material is shared in advance, but no prior preparation is required to attend.
