Physical AI Playground: NUcoders

What is a playground? A playground is not a class, a workshop, a hackathon, or a coffee chat. However, depending on the people gathered that day, it can become all of those things. It is an open maker playground where people who want to create can freely gather to experiment with their ideas, observe each other's work, ask questions, and share experiences. There is no set curriculum or assigned tasks that must be completed. On one side, someone might be quietly working on their laptop after some play, while on another side, a few people can be engaged in serious discussions. Someone who is touching hardware for the first time might stop a passerby and ask, “How do I connect this?” or “Why does this work?” Meanwhile, someone else might be excitedly showcasing what they just created. At another table, someone may be struggling with something that hasn’t been working for hours, only to be suddenly solved by a comment from a neighbor. A small seminar may be taking place on one side, teams may form spontaneously, and competitions can arise, turning into a small contest. It’s perfectly fine to just come, grab a coffee, and chat with people. It starts with what you want to try rather than what you want to learn. Create, fail, try again, observe, talk, and help each other. The very act of the people gathered that day is what makes up the Playground. This Playground will focus on Physical AI and NUcoders. Using the No-Code Board NU40 DK as a toy, we will connect generative AI with various technologies and hardware such as sensors, LEDs, and motors to bring each person's ideas into the real world. You don't necessarily need a project to attend. If you’re unsure about what to create, you’re welcome to just come. You might get ideas by observing someone else's project, or you can just come to meet people over a cup of coffee. There’s also a small entrance prepared for those who have never dealt with hardware before. The organizers and mentors are more like facilitators within the Playground than instructors. They will help you with wiring when needed, provide hints for blocked areas, and connect people with similar interests. Which ticket should you choose?
