Perth AI Builders is a new community meetup focused on the practical side of AI, especially the fast-moving world of LLMs, agentic workflows, AI tooling and startup building. At this session, Marcus Holmes will be giving a talk on "how to use an LLM to actually build something", going through the process from simple chatbot copy/paste to multi-layered agentic coding. This session is aimed at relatively inexperienced folks, but as everyone has developed their own workflow, even the more experienced vibe-coders may find something interesting here. And the principles shown here for software development can also be applied to other areas. Following the session, attendees will have the opportunity to share what they've been building, showcase projects, demonstrate tools, exchange ideas and learn from others experimenting with AI in the real world. Whether you're deep into agentic coding workflows, exploring AI tools for your startup, or simply trying to understand where this technology is heading, this meetup is designed to be practical, accessible and community-led. Bring your laptop, meet like-minded builders, and join the conversation.
