Duoc UC A Puertas Abiertas, in collaboration with the Municipal Theater of Viña del Mar and the French Institute of Chile, invites you to enjoy "Ersatz", an innovative proposal of object theater created by French actor and director Julien Mellano, which will be presented for the first time in Viña del Mar.Internationally recognized and applauded by thousands of spectators since its premiere in 2018, this unique staging combines theater, visual arts, and object manipulation to build a universe as surprising as it is thought-provoking. Without resorting to verbal language, the play offers an original perspective on the human of the future and its relationship with the rapid technological advances.Through ingenious visual effects, transformed everyday objects, and sharp humor, "Ersatz" invites the audience to question and explore concepts such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, cybernetics, and transhumanism.
