OBM: Building Websites & Web Apps with AI

You've probably heard of Claude. And there's a good reason. It's setting the pace as the tool that everyday people can use to build their own personal and business apps. Whether it's a note-taking system, a roster or a complete system for managing your own processes, it's now possible to look at creating your own web apps and using them for yourself or your team. And that means you can also build websites with it as well. In this online class we'll look at how to use Claude to build software, the basics you should be aware of before you do, selecting a place to host your apps that you can actually manage and grow from. You'll learn about web hosting, MySQL databases, approaching software so it doesn't get too bloated and how to ensure you manage it in the simplest and most accessible way for a small business. We will also be doing this at the same time with Google Gemini and ChatGPT to show a comparison of features and how output can vary between each tool. The workshop will be held in the Big Rivers Government Centre at 5 First Street, Katherine.
