Mind the Tech: technology, performance, and well-being
Description
Technology was supposed to make our work easier. Instead, managers, teams, and HR spend their days amidst notifications, platforms that don't communicate, and constant interruptions. It's not just a matter of personal organization. The problem lies in how we have designed and adopted these tools. The talk starts with data on cognitive overload, burnout, and attention fragmentation to pose a simple question: are we using technology to work better or are we just adding more work? Many digital tools help us, but at the same time require updates, checks, and continuous steps. This creates a second invisible job, made up of tasks to move, notifications to manage, and information to reconstruct. Work Management Systems are one of the clearest examples. The talk does not just describe the problem. It shows how AI, UX design, wearables, and neuroscience can reduce cognitive load and concretely support team work. The format alternates interactions with the audience, real cases, and applicable tools in the company.
