Milan | Claude Conversation
Description
Claude Conversations Milan: how can AI make public services reachable for everyone? The Municipality of Milan runs hundreds of services: residency certificates, school enrolment, housing and welfare support, permits, social services, mobility. On paper, they are open to everyone. In practice, reaching them is much harder if you do not read bureaucratic Italian, if you use a screen reader, if you are eighty years old, if you arrived in the city last year, or if you simply cannot work out which of the forty pages on the website applies to your situation. The Questions on the Table AI is already being sold as the answer to this. Before building anything, the harder questions are worth an evening. What This Is Claude Conversations is a small, focused gathering for builders, designers, public sector people and anyone who cares about whether citizens can reach the services they are entitled to. This is not a talk and not a product demo. We spend the evening on one question, sharing perspectives, disagreeing where it is useful, and leaving with one real and specific problem worth solving. That problem becomes the brief for a Claude Impact Lab, a hands-on build session where the community works on a solution together. What to Expect A focused conversation. A guided discussion on access, accessibility and what AI actually changes for public services. Both sides of the counter. Space for people who deliver services and people who struggle to use them, including the parts that are uncomfortable to say out loud. From conversation to action. We pick one concrete problem from the room and turn it into the brief for the next Claude Impact Lab. A room of builders. Developers, designers, accessibility specialists, civic tech, public sector staff, non-profits. Who should join Come with questions, not answers. Bring one story about a service that failed someone. The most useful part of the evening will be what we find out together. The conversation will be held in Italian, with English welcome.
