Speaker Highlights TRENDY TAIPEI | StartSphere Taipei StartSphere Taipei, Taipei’s innovation and entrepreneurship summit, will take place from 3 to 4 September as part of the 2026 TRENDY TAIPEI series of events. Under the theme “TAIPEI IN VIBES,” TRENDY TAIPEI 2026 is Taipei’s international urban music festival, bringing together diverse fields including music, art, film and television, technology, gaming, and fashion. Centred on the theme “Beyond Limits, Prompt the Future,” StartSphere Taipei focuses on innovation in entertainment technology, cultural content, and international connections. Through the “Culturepreneurs” themed exhibition and five forums, the event will bring together international investors, entertainment technology startups, film and media professionals, and independent game development teams from eight countries—Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, France, the United States, and Malaysia—to explore the latest opportunities for IP collaboration. IP Convergence: New Frontiers in Entertainment Experience and Digital Technology This forum brings Japanese and Korean companies and investors, including Sony, alongside Taiwan’s leading music-streaming platform, to explore the latest opportunities for IP collaboration and share experiences of international expansion. IP Convergence looks at how IP moves beyond its original work into city-wide experiences, and how AI and new technologies make it easier to adapt and extend stories across film, games, events, and online platforms.
