The more practical question is: which data and tasks are suitable to stay on-premises, which require cloud capabilities, and how can both work together?This workshop will start from common corporate scenarios and introduce aspects to consider when evaluating Local AI solutions, including data privacy, network and latency, model capabilities, hardware requirements, costs, and maintenance methods.The course is not aimed at proficient use of specific Local LLM tools, but rather hopes to assist participants in establishing a basic judgment framework through discussions and hands-on practice, and understanding model selection, workflow design, and validation methods.Day 1 | From Demand Assessment to Environment Setup09:00-16:00On the first day, we will first discuss the positioning of Local AI in the Hybrid AI architecture and the data, capabilities, and environmental constraints that common corporate needs may face.Content includes:Day 2 | Workflow, Evaluation, and Adjustment09:00-16:00On the second day, we will extend from a single model to document and image processing workflows, practicing comparing the effects and limitations of different methods.Content includes:The focus of the two-day course is to allow participants to actually engage with the basic processes of demand analysis, model and tool selection, and validation solutions. Mac is the teaching environment for this course, and the concepts of demand analysis, model selection, and evaluation can also extend to other local hardware or cloud environments.Participants please bring your own Mac with Apple Silicon and at least 16 GB of unified memory.
