Spend a Saturday building with Google Gemini to solve a real problem in your own community. Our chapter is joining Hack for Humanity, The AI Collective's global initiative running Fall 2026. It's the continuation of the Humans in AI Week conversations we held this summer, where we identified real problems in our local community... and now is our chance to build the solutions. The schedule: 11:00–11:15 Check-in 11:15–11:35 Opening ceremony 11:35–3:45 Build time 12:45–1:45 Lunch · 3:45 submissions close 3:45–4:45 Demos and judging 4:45–4:55 Winners recorded 4:55–5:00 Closing Who should come: All types of builders. Engineers, designers, PMs, and people writing their first line of code. You don't need a team or an idea, team formation runs right after the opening ceremony. Note: this is an 18+ event. The focus here is exactly what the name says. Every problem statement and every project should solve something local to your community, with the purpose of benefiting humanity. All types of builders are welcome at this event. The winners of this event may be asked to showcase their products within our global newsletter with 300k+ subscribers! The winning team takes home the Best Use of Gemini API prize from Google. Entrepreneurs First (EF) turns exceptional individuals into funded founders. Some might have an early idea, others may need a cofounder. What matters is their potential. We back these founders first, then give them a bridge to Silicon Valley.
