Glasgow - Digital Health Divides
Description
Scotland is digitising its health and social care systems at pace. That promises better access and better outcomes, but only for the people those systems are designed around. Trust, data and representation decide who benefits and who is left further behind. The Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Summit & Festival 2026 comes to Glasgow on Monday 26 October 2026 at the Mazumdar Shaw Advanced Research Centre, University of Glasgow, in partnership with the Global Health and Environment Interdisciplinary Research Theme. With the theme “Navigating Disruption: All Scotland’s Talent at the Helm”, the Glasgow Edition spotlights digital health divides, environmental justice, clinical governance in an age of invisible AI, and the research careers that shape them. Event Highlights: Monday 26 October 2026 🔹 Full-day summit (08:30–16:00): two keynotes, a morning of roundtables on AI in health systems and cross-sector collaboration, and parallel afternoon tracks on digital confidence, person-centred care, health disparities and data storytelling. 📍 Mazumdar Shaw Advanced Research Centre (The ARC Building), University of Glasgow, 11 Chapel Lane, Glasgow G11 6EW
