The Generative Modeling Summer School, hosted at the prestigious Imperial College London from March 23 to March 27, 2026, invites students, researchers, and practitioners to immerse themselves in the cutting-edge field of generative modeling. This intensive program offers a unique opportunity to explore the latest advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data generation techniques. Participants will engage in hands-on workshops, expert-led lectures, and collaborative projects, fostering an environment of innovation and knowledge sharing. With a diverse lineup of speakers from academia and industry, attendees will gain invaluable insights into the theoretical foundations and practical applications of generative models.
Highlights
Dedicated to deep generative models, including latent variable models, diffusion models, and autoregressive models. Primarily targets PhD students and researchers across Europe interested in generative modeling. First three days focus on intensive lectures and tutorials covering foundational concepts. Final two days feature invited talks on state-of-the-art generative models highlighting current research frontiers. Lecturers include experts from institutions like Imperial College London, Mistral AI, Chalmers University of Technology, University of Oxford, and DeepMind. Organized by professionals from Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Inria, Université Côte d'Azur, and Technical University of Denmark. Local organizers are from Imperial College London and University College London. Recommended reading: 'Deep Generative Modeling' by Jakub M. Tomczak (Second Edition, 2024, Springer).
