Starting 21 September 2026, Coding Macaw Bootcamp’s programme combines instructor-led training with hands-on projects, technical practice and career support. It is designed around the tools and concepts used to collect, transform, process and store data in modern cloud and AI-powered environments. What the bootcamp covers The curriculum moves from core foundations to modern data platforms and automated workflows, including: SQL: joins, aggregations, window functions, analytics queries and data transformation Python: fundamentals, Pandas, data cleaning, processing and automation Data pipelines: ETL and ELT, batch pipelines, ingestion, transformation and workflow orchestration Big data: Apache Spark, PySpark, distributed processing and an introduction to Apache Kafka Modern data stack: dbt, Apache Airflow, Snowflake, Databricks, Delta Lake and Apache Iceberg Cloud data engineering: AWS fundamentals, Microsoft Azure concepts, Google Cloud concepts, cloud pipelines and data warehousing AI workflows: AI-assisted coding, debugging, pipeline development, automation and improved transformation workflows Format and learner outcomes This is a 100% live online, 10-day training programme with morning and evening EST batches. The listed sessions are 10:30am–12:30pm and 8:30pm–10:30pm EST. Alongside live teaching, attendees can expect hands-on data engineering projects, SQL and Python practice, coding assessments and exposure to real-world pipeline concepts. The programme also includes a data engineering career roadmap, résumé optimisation, LinkedIn profile guidance, mock interviews, job guidance and a certificate of completion.
