Forget Vibe Coding - Switch to Guided Coding
Description
Vibe Coding is all the rage - great for Rapid Prototyping, but not an option for Enterprise-Grade Software Development. In this talk, we will look at Guided Coding, a heavily iteration-focused approach to working with Coding Agents that I developed for my new Open Source Library Light.PortableResults. We will explore the three phases of Guided Coding, discuss how I create plans with AI, implement them, and verify the results. Additionally, we will address the security risks of Coding Agents and alternatives like Vibe Coding or Spec-Driven Development.Kenny Pflug is an Engineering Manager at TELIS/GWVS and has been professionally working in Microsoft's .NET environment since 2009. He oversees several open-source projects and has been speaking at User Groups and conferences since 2014.
