Field Notes: AI in the lab

How are researchers actually using AI? Vamsi, CEO of Tuva, has talked with heavy AI users in labs at schools like Harvard, Stanford, and UPenn. In this talk, he'll share the strategies that are working for them. Tuva is a startup building tools that help researchers get the most out of AI. Its new tool, Rao, gives Claude Code and Codex agents one shared memory, and it proactively surfaces information relevant to where researchers are in their project. Vamsi is the co-founder and CEO of Tuva, a biophysicist at NYU and UChicago, a Stanford alum. Talk will run about 30 minutes, followed by Q&A.
