Rather than focusing on new technology, Ed will examine the delays hidden between tasks: handovers, competing priorities, missing data and rigid interpretations of job roles or systems. He will share personal stories and the strategy he used to eliminate much of that waiting, covering: - Why “everyone’s flat out” and “nothing’s shipping” can describe the same underlying problem - How project time disappears in the gaps between pieces of work - Why fast-moving colleagues often look beyond formal job titles - Why technical skill alone does not determine delivery speed - What teams can change immediately without adopting new technology Ed runs Ritchie BI, a consultancy helping manufacturers use data to improve performance and profitability.
