As organizations increasingly apply LLMs to high-stakes business problems, fundamental limitations are emerging. From inconsistent performance on tabular datasets and reasoning failures to hallucinated explanations and benchmark leakage, LLMs often struggle when accuracy and reliable prediction matter most. This talk explores where LLMs excel, where they fall short, and why structured enterprise data presents an entirely different challenge. Through real-world experiments and case studies, we'll examine the limitations of today's models and introduce the next frontier of enterprise AI: Large Tabular Models (LTMs) —purpose-built architectures designed to understand structured data and deliver more accurate, scalable, and trustworthy predictions for the operational world.
