Casual meetup for effective altruists, or those interested in AI safety, global poverty alleviation, human and animal welfare, and more generally making the world a better place. Whether you're brand new to EA, or a serial EAGx attendee, come share your thoughts and ideas! Motivation: I’m hoping to connect even the most casual Effective Altruists to a broader community, and facilitate networking, friendships, and the spread of important ideas. Call to Action: Bring your picnic blanket, and we'll hang out and chat on the grass by the baseball diamonds at the South-East end of Trinity Bellwoods Park. Potential discussion topics: What evidence would genuinely change your mind about the importance of AI risk? Should the EA community market itself? How?
