Join the 2-day Eco-AI Hackathon co-organized by GDG Hong Kong, where you will use real-time data and responsible AI to build interactive ecological art prototypes. Outstanding works will have the chance to be exhibited at the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change! Event Overview We cordially invite you to participate in the Eco-AI Hackathon: Live Data Visuals & Interactive Ecological Art organized in partnership with Digital Common(s), Gerry Li Studio, and Nexamind AI! Would you like to see your AI interactive art piece exhibited in a museum? This hackathon is a special project for the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change's "Rootelligence" exhibition (August 29 to October 31, 2026). We will guide everyone in using live data visualization, responsible AI, and vibe coding to rapidly prototype and re-explore nature and climate issues. The winning teams will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change! Be sure to register before September 10! Tracks & Key Highlights Tracks Track A: University Student Group (Aged 18–25) Track B: Open Group (Aged 26–35) Key Focus Areas Non-Human Perspective Conception: Transform ecological signals into visual experiences using real-time data, reimagining nature from a new angle. Responsible AI and Vibe Coding: Use rapid AI collaborative development to create prototypes while adhering to responsible AI principles. Exploring AI's Carbon Footprint: Gain insights into and assess the environmental impact and energy consumption of generative AI. Museum Exhibition Opportunity: Receive guidance from professional mentors; winning works will have the chance to be exhibited at the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change.
