E-Examination Symposium 2026 (EPS)
Description
The E-Examination Symposium (EPS) is a specialist conference focusing on digital examinations in higher education, scheduled to take place at the University of Freiburg. The theme for the 2026 symposium is "Challenges of Digital Examinations: AI, Cheating, Infrastructure," which addresses the pressing issues that institutions face in implementing digital assessments.
Highlights
Focus on challenges in digital examinations: AI, cheating, and infrastructure. Organized by the E-Learning Department of the University of Freiburg. Supported by the Hochschulnetzwerk Digitalisierung der Lehre Baden-Württemberg (HND-BW) and e-teaching.org. Call for Papers open until December 1, 2025. Registration open from the fourth quarter of 2025 until April 30, 2026. Event limited to 150 participants. Program expected to be published by February 20, 2026. Publication of the anthology scheduled for July 31, 2026. Discussions on AI tools in digital exams and prevention of cheating. Exploration of suitable exam rooms, equipment, software, and support personnel.
