The DWIH Symposium on Sustainable Consumption and Production focuses on innovative strategies for responsible resource use and environmental impact reduction. It features keynote addresses, roundtable discussions, and a poster session showcasing pioneering research. Over 120 participants discussed challenges and opportunities in aging societies. Hosted by Keio University and co-organized with the University of Cologne. Supported by the German Embassy, Institute of Science Tokyo, and University of Tsukuba. Keynote by Prof. Dr. Joybrato Mukherjee on rethinking life in aging societies. Panel discussions on health innovations and policy perspectives. Poster sessions showcased cutting-edge research and practical approaches. Topics included autonomous driving technologies and in-home care monitoring systems. Explored economic dependency ratios and promotion of active physical participation through robotics.
