Abbott is a Founding Partner at Blitzscaling Ventures and founder of AI Salon, a global community for AI builders and enthusiasts now active in more than 65 cities across six continents. He began his career in Mexico — first as a visiting professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, later leading marketing and digital transformation for Whirlpool and GE/Mabe across Latin America — before serving as Director of Venture Acceleration Services at Arizona State University and co-founding Blitzscaling Academy with Chris Yeh. He is co-author, with Dr. Robert T. Moran, of NAFTA: Managing the Cultural Differences and Uniting North American Business, and, with Dr. Andrew Maynard, of AI and the Art of Being Human (2025).
