Creative AI with Midjourney
Description
Image Creation with Midjourney Visual Future Scenarios, Conscious Prompting, and Critical AI Practice About the Workshop In this hands-on workshop, we'll use Midjourney to imagine and art-direct speculative future worlds. Through short creative exercises, you'll translate your ideas into images: scenarios of environments, objects, materials, characters, and social rituals. We'll cover key Midjourney terms and practice conscious prompting, treating AI image generation as a creative process rather than a slot machine. You'll learn to make aesthetic choices, ask critical questions about system outputs, and gain authorship through selection, evaluation, and iteration. We'll explore: The workshop draws on the FLUXUS mindset, combining creative experimentation with human direction, critical reflection, and responsible AI use. We'll close with a collective gallery of imagined futures and a conversation: which of these futures would we genuinely want to build? No advanced Midjourney experience is required, but participants should have an active account and basic familiarity with the interface. Please also come with some familiarity with Miro, as we'll be using it as our shared whiteboard.
