Copilot Lab: Microsoft 365 Workflow Integration
Description
Start with your workflow, then find where Copilot can genuinely help across Microsoft 365. Moving between Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel can create unnecessary repetition. The challenge is not simply learning what Copilot can do, but knowing where it fits into your actual work, how to review its outputs, and where human judgement should remain. This practical WA AI Hub lab helps Microsoft 365 users explore Copilot through everyday workplace tasks and build a clearer workflow for using it safely and effectively. Who this is for This session is designed for: • Microsoft 365 users • Professionals and business teams • Managers and team leaders • Administrators and operations staff • Anyone looking to improve their Microsoft 365 workflows with Copilot No advanced technical background is required. What we will do together • Map your workflow: Identify everyday tasks across Microsoft 365 where Copilot may reduce repetitive work or improve efficiency. • Explore Copilot in practice: Work through practical examples using Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. • Review and refine outputs: Practise checking AI-generated content for accuracy, relevance, context, and suitability before using it. • Apply responsible-use checks: Consider privacy, data handling, human review, and other safeguards when using Copilot at work. • Build your workflow map: Create a practical Microsoft 365 workflow that fits your role or team. • Identify next steps: Decide which workflow improvements are worth testing further. What you will take home • A Microsoft 365 Workflow Map • A practical Copilot Safe-Use Checklist • Ideas for improving existing workflows • A clearer approach to reviewing and refining Copilot outputs Good to know Please bring your laptop and, where possible, access to your usual Microsoft 365 environment. You may bring a general workplace task or workflow to explore, but do not use confidential, personal, client, employee, or commercially sensitive information during the session. No previous Copilot experience is required. This is a practical lab focused on workplace workflow integration and responsible use, not technical configuration or IT support. ========================================== Refund and Cancellation Policy Cancellation Windows • 14+ days before: Full transfer to another session or course credit (less platform fees).
