Focus on open geospatial platforms for conservation, including Africa-wide services and RCMRD tools. Discussions on standards, governance, and ethics for sharing sensitive biodiversity data. Sessions on converting drone imagery into actionable insights using photogrammetry, AI, and time-series analysis. Exploration of interoperability: linking field teams, protected-area operations, and policy reporting. Continuation from G-DiNC Track 3 and related competition outputs to real projects. Target audience includes wildlife agencies, conservancies, NGOs, GIS/data managers, research labs, donors, and tech providers. Co-hosted by Digital Earth Africa, RCMRD, and the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS). Part of the Global Conservation Tech & Drone Forum (GCTDF) 2026. Aims to advance how conservation teams collect, govern, and share drone-derived data at a continental scale. Emphasis on ethical data governance and practical workflows that move projects from 'dataset' to 'decision'.
