Focuses on STEM education with a design contest theme: 'From Classrooms to Careers: STEM in Action' Open to students in grades 5-12 from the Midwest Projects are subject to a pre-selection process based on specific criteria No team projects or duplicate projects from the same school are allowed Projects can be experimental or design-based, using the scientific method or design process skills Parent/Guardian approval is required for all projects Judging begins promptly at 11:00 am, with each project judged by at least three judges Students must be present near their projects until judging is complete Awards will be given in five categories based on participants’ scores The event is held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL
