ClawBio + Nebius Hackathon Berlin: Agentic AI for Genomics
Description
ClawBio and Nebius are running a one-day hackathon in Berlin on building agentic AI for genomics. AI agents can now plan multi-step work, call tools, run analyses, read their own outputs and recover from failure. Biology is where that gets hard, because it demands reproducibility, provenance, traceable evidence and knowing when to abstain. ClawBio is the open infrastructure for that: agents perform scientific work through explicit, versioned, auditable skills, so what an agent did can be inspected, reproduced and challenged. You will build with ClawBio skills on Nebius infrastructure, run them against real genomic data, and demo what you built. What you get Compute provided by Nebius, plus credits for Nebius Token Factory so teams can run open-weight models. A shared read-only volume with reference data (GIAB, ClinVar, reference genomes), so no team spends the morning downloading files. Prizes The best projects will receive Nebius AI Cloud and Token Factory credits to continue building after the hackathon. Winners are chosen by the room: everyone votes for their three favourite demos. Who should come Bioinformaticians, computational biologists, genomics researchers, software engineers and ML practitioners who want to build agents that do real scientific work. You do not need prior ClawBio experience. You do need to be comfortable writing code. Teams of four to five. Bring a laptop. Format Come at 11:30 if you can. We start at 12:00 sharp, and the earlier you are set up on Nebius the more you build.
