Description

What this workshop covers This is a 1-hour hands-on session showing search fund principals, ETA investors, and small-cap acquirers how to produce a sourced target list and an owner-dependent diligence pack, using Claude AI agents inside Claude Cowork. We walk you through a production-ready multi-agent workflow that takes an industry fragment and a deal box and produces a list of likely sellers plus a diligence pack built around owner dependence, so by the end of the session you can source and screen targets without assembling the analysis by hand. Limited slots available. First come, first served. Section 1: Running the Full Search Workflow How to have Claude run the entire engine in one sequence. An Orchestrator defines the fragment, the ideal target, and the deal box. A Sourcing Scout maps owners likely to sell and the signal behind each, age, tenure, no successor, sector pressure. A Cashflow Verifier runs quality of earnings on the small-business books and scrubs the addbacks. A Bull argues the growth and professionalization case. An Owner-Dependence Bear on a fresh turn attacks key-person risk, customer concentration, and transferability. The run ends at the Watch Dog, which traces every figure, flags thin-data assumptions, tests owner dependence, sends thin-data assumptions back, and has the Judge issue pursue or pass with the diligence gaps to close. Section 2: Turning the Workflow into a Reusable Skill How to capture the run order as a Claude skill so it executes the same way for every target. We build the skill that encodes each seat, the quality-of-earnings scrub, and the owner-dependence tests, so sourcing and screening becomes a single instruction rather than a sequence you rebuild per target. Section 3: Root Files and Workspace Configuration How the files driving the workflow actually work: the workspace identity and house rules, the skill file for the search engine, the editable criteria that hold your deal box, addback rules, and concentration thresholds so your team can tune them without touching code, and the agent files behind the Bull, Owner-Dependence Bear, Judge, and Watch Dog. Configure these once and every target you run gets sourced, scrubbed, and stress-tested against the same standard. Section 4: The Scheduling Prompt How to run the Sourcing Scout as an always-on prospector. Configure Claude to scan the fragment for succession signals on a schedule and surface owners as they appear, so the pipeline fills itself and likely sellers reach you rather than waiting on a manual search. What you leave with All root files, prompts, workflows, and input templates ready to run on your own company tomorrow. 30-minute Q&A with Ayub. Who this is for Search fund principals, ETA investors, and small-cap acquirers who want to compress the time between picking a fragment and having a sourced target list and an owner-dependent diligence pack on the table.
