Claude for Exit Preparation & Readiness
Description
What this workshop covers This is a 1-hour hands-on session showing PE and VC partners, principals, and analysts how to automate exit preparation using Claude AI agents inside Claude Cowork. We will walk you through four production-ready workflows built on a real PE-backed company that was sold to a strategic buyer, so by the end of the session you can run a full exit preparation process from 6 months out to management presentations, without opening a blank document or writing a single line yourself. Limited slots available. First come, first served. Section 1: Exit Readiness Scoring and DD Vulnerability Scan How to have Claude scan your Google Drive, locate the portfolio company's financials, contracts, customer data, and legal overview, and produce a full vulnerability report across six DD workstreams: financial, commercial, legal, operational, management, and ESG. Claude rates every vulnerability as high, medium, or low, flags the items most likely to cause a price chip or process delay, and for every high-rated item recommends a specific remediation action before you go to market. We run this live on a real deal. You see exactly what surfaces and how Claude structures the output. Section 2: Equity Story Framework How to have Claude build the narrative that every sale document, management presentation, and data room will be organised around. Claude produces the headline, the ownership journey in metrics, the market context, the growth runway left for the next owner, and the buyer thesis for both strategic and financial acquirers. We build this on the actual value creation story of the case study company, so the output you see is grounded in a real ownership period, real metrics, and a real exit outcome. Section 3: Vendor Due Diligence Pack How to configure Claude to take the equity story and vulnerability scan it just produced and structure a full VDD pack across eight sections: business overview, quality of earnings, commercial and market position, customer analysis, operations and technology, management team, legal and compliance, and growth roadmap. For each section Claude identifies the documents to include, the three key messages the section must land, and how to address each vulnerability proactively. For the quality of earnings section specifically, Claude generates ten normalisation adjustments a buyer QoE team is likely to propose and drafts a defence of each one grounded in the actual financials. Section 4: Management Presentation Preparation How to have Claude prepare the management team for buyer presentations. Claude produces the full ten-slide presentation structure, drafts the fifteen hardest buyer questions ranked by likelihood with a recommended management answer for each, identifies the five questions where an evasive answer will damage buyer confidence more than a direct one, writes the CEO's opening ninety-second statement, and designs a four-hour rehearsal agenda for the CEO and CFO. The kind of preparation that normally takes an advisory team two weeks now takes under an hour. Section 5: Root Files and Workspace Configuration How the three root files driving every workflow in this session actually work: CLAUDE.md for workspace identity and folder structure, SKILL.md for fund mandate, exit methodology, and output format specifications, and EXIT-SCORING-CRITERIA.xlsx for the editable scoring rubric your team can update without touching any code. You configure these once and every company you run through the system gets scored, flagged, and prepared against the same institutional standard. Section 6: The Scheduling Prompt How to configure Claude so that every morning at 9am it scans your Google Drive for updated portfolio files, identifies what has changed, and notifies you on exit readiness. One prompt, set once, and the monitoring runs without you. What you leave with All root files, prompts, and workflows ready to run on your next deal tomorrow. 30-minute Q&A with Ayub. Who this is for PE and VC partners, principals, analysts, and CFOs at funds managing $50M to $5B+ who want to compress the time between receiving a financial package and having a partner-ready analysis, LBO model, and management question list on the table.
